I have enjoyed photography for over 55 years.   I'm usually involved in Wedding, Architecture and Nature Photography. Capturing images from our natural world is my favorite. 

I was featured in the June 2016 "Picture This! - Reader's Assignment" section of Shutterbug magazine. The theme for this section of the magazine was "Fine Art Photography" - Images worthy of hanging in a gallery.  For this theme, Shutterbug received an above average amount of over 620 photo submissions.  Mine was one of nine chosen for the issue. View the photo in the magazine.  I also had a 2017 image "Wonder Lake Alpenglow" chosen as a finalist in Outdoor Photography Magazine's contest "Nature's Colors".  Additionally, I've won some local contests and have had a few local exhibits. I've been published a few times and have had an image published in the book "Best of Photography, 2007".

I've photographed in the Florida Keys, the California Coast, Vancouver BC, the Tetons, Yellowstone, Jasper Alberta Canada, Alaska twice and Yosemite. I was a "Featured Artist of the Day" on Imagekind.com on Feb 25, 2010 and also March 24, 2011.

My life is filled with a wife, a son and a daughter and a son in law and our beautiful granddaughter. I am retired from Starbucks Coffee Company and now enjoying photography work, woodworking, travel and enjoying time with our granddaughter.
